If you’ve ever wondered why so many families choose to call Massachusetts home, here’s another reason to add to the list.
A recent WalletHub study ranked Massachusetts as the #1 state in the nation for public schools, earning top marks for both academic quality and school safety. The rankings were based on 32 factors, including standardized test scores, graduation rates, class sizes, teacher credentials, funding, and overall student safety. Massachusetts also led the nation in fourth- and eighth-grade math and reading scores and had the highest percentage of students earning passing scores on Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
For many homebuyers, access to exceptional schools is one of the biggest factors when deciding where to live. While every family’s needs are unique, it’s no surprise that communities throughout Greater Boston and MetroWest continue to be in high demand thanks to their strong public school systems.
Whether you’re planning a move now or simply thinking about the future, investing in a home in Massachusetts means investing in one of the best education systems in the country.
